Kanye West tapped his 6-year-old daughter North West to be the entertainment at his Yeezy fashion show during Paris Fashion Week tonight. North took the stage alongside her dad, rapping while the models posed alongside her in his latest collection. She was a consummate professional, performing with a synth beat during the cold French night. The musical number was, well, abstract—this is a Yeezy show, after all, and they’ve always been a little quirky. Twitter loved it though:
North started her music career young. At age four, she was learning piano and violin. Currently, she’s been into Tik Tok. Her mother Kim Kardashian has let her use a private account where she posts only drafts.
As Kardashian explained to Entertainment Tonight at Vanity Fair‘s Oscar after party, “North has a private TikTok account, so we do lots of TikToks together, and she puts them in drafts. She’s not allowed to post them, but we have a lot of TikToks.”
Kardashian has since posted one on her own Instagram, featuring her and North dancing to Bomba Estéreo’s “To My Love (Tainy Remix).” It received 1.8 million views:
North’s drive to the Yeezy show was documented on Kardashian’s Instagram Story. North and Kardashian were twinning, and even in the car, North was already singing and in a jolly mood. There was no trace of her being nervous—impressive for a first-time performer, but maybe not all that surprising for a child with such famous parents.
