Taylor Swift is officially 30 now, and it didn’t take long for her friends to start posting on Instagram about the occasion, as they do each year on her birthday. While Swift’s squad is far less public than they used to be, December 13 is a rare occasion where they proclaim their Swift friendship loudly. And this year is extra special with Swift turning the big 3-0. Here, all the tributes so far, along with people who posted tributes last year but haven’t shared their 2019 one yet. This post will be updated throughout the day with more posts.

Hadid was bright and early this year with her tribute. She wrote, “My T ! ? An old soul celebrating 30 years here … and what a phenomenon you are. It’s rare someone can be inimitable yet still make hearts feel at home with innate generosity. I love you and can’t wait to celebrate you sister !!!! HAPPY BDAY????? @taylorswift”
Hadid’s Tribute Last Year: The model shared three Instagram stories to Swift. “Cheers to many more years of time spent stargazing, cooking, and celebrating epic friendship (which is why we forgot to take pics this year? lol) and all the adventure, love, and light you deserve,” Hadid wrote to Swift in her third and last Instagram Story. “Thank you for being you, you are a blessing and an inspiration to me and so many x @taylorswift.”
Hall went above and beyond, posting a grid Instagram and roughly 30 Instagram Stories for Swift’s birthday. He shared some new candid snaps of them and wrote a loving message in his post’s caption.
“I knew from the day you agreed to split on a couch with me that we’d be friends forever! Today you celebrate 30 years on this planet, and I just want to say thank you for being such a real friend, such a great therapist, such an iconic musician and songwriter, such a bad ass woman who’s not afraid to speak her mind and such a phenomenal human being. I have watched you grow as an artist and use your voice and gift to help make this crazy world we live in a much better place. Every time I hear “shade never made anybody less gay” being sung by children and teens in middle America I think, holy shit my friend is changing the world. Not many can do that, but you can and you do! I don’t know what the future has in store for us, but I know it’s bright and I got my sunglasses READY HONEY! So blessed to be a part of your journey and to quote my favorite musical of all time “because I knew you, I have been changed for good.” Happy Birthday @taylorswift ?”

Gomez is in Paris today.
Last year, she ended up not posting a tribute to Swift (she was taking a break from social media to work on her mental health), but she shared one in 2017:
Swift’s boyfriend of three years has never publicly posted about her on Instagram. The two prefer to keep their relationship private. Swift acknowledged him and how happy she was to have him in her life during her Billboard Woman of the Decade interview that was released this week. When she was asked if she could go back and give any advice to herself in her 20s, she mentioned him. “Oh, God—I wouldn’t give myself any advice,” she started. “I would have done everything exactly the same way. Because even the really tough things I’ve gone through taught me things that I never would have learned any other way. I really appreciate my experience, the ups and downs. And maybe that seems ridiculously Zen, but…I’ve got my friends, who like me for the right reasons. I’ve got my family. I’ve got my boyfriend [Joe Alwyn]. I’ve got my fans. I’ve got my cats.”

Lorde remains largely off Instagram and social media. She only has three Instagram posts and has not shared a birthday tribute in the last three years, choosing to keep her friendships private.
Sheeran doesn’t post much on social media and was on a break during Swift’s birthday the past two years.
Lively’s Last Tribute in 2016:
Dunham said in her November 2018 New York magazine profile that she was still friends with Swift to her own surprise. That friendship is kept off-screen though. She hasn’t posted a birthday tribute in the last three years.
