What makes a hero? We know the common answers, but have you ever pondered it a little deeper? How about when true heroism is shown by a child? The will to act when things are scary is tough for many adults. There must have been something special inside of six-year-old Bridger Walker that pushed him to put his own life in danger in order to save his four-year-old sister from a dog attack. You may have already heard about Captain America, Chris Evans, reaching out to Bridger, which was just awesome! Well, it appears that Iron Man is following in his fellow Avenger’s steps. Check out the message that Robert Downey Jr. sent to young Bridger:
“Bridger, you’re a rock star. My name’s Robert Downey Jr., I play ‘Tony,’ that makes me an old friend of Cap’s. I heard he sent a shield your way: I’m going to do one better. You call me on your next birthday, I got something special for you. ‘Late. By the way – that’s a promise; a promise beats a shield.”

I say this kid deserves ALL the wonderful things coming to him and wish him a speedy recovery! Can’t wait to see what Robert Downey Jr. bestows upon him too!
