Caitlyn Jenner made global headlines last week when she talked about Khloé Kardashian not being as supportive of her gender transition as her other children on Australia’s I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here. TMZ reports that Kardashian isn’t exactly happy with Jenner saying that on television…and that it also doesn’t represent the truth.
With her gender transition, Jenner told her campmates on the program, “I went through every kid and Khloé for some reason was pissed off about something through this whole process; it’s been five or six years, and I really haven’t talked to her since.” Per The Sun, she reportedly added: “We were really close. I raised her since she was five years old; I really don’t know what her issues are.”
Multiple sources connected with the situation told TMZ that Jenner came out in 2015, and the Kardashian family knew shortly before, so it wasn’t five or six years. The sources also added, per TMZ’s writeup, that “Khloé was completely supportive of Caitlyn’s transition at the time, and things only got bitter between them when Caitlyn took shots at [Khloé’s mother] Kris in her memoir—something we’re told none of the Kardashian sisters appreciated.”
The sources additionally told the outlet that Jenner and Kardashian “have been nothing but pleasant at family holiday parties and birthdays” and that Kardashian genuinely felt things had been getting better between them recently. She sent flowers for Jenner’s birthday and has only love for Jenner. The sources said given this, Kardashian was “hurt” by Jenner’s accusation there’s still tension.
